I guess I will just jump right in and post what we did yesterday. We had a great day as a family at the Wild Animal Park. I convinced Kris to take the day off and come with us, especially since I didn't think I could get through a day like that alone (my energy level is not quite back and my leg hurts because of my veins, don't you love pregnancy). We ended up having a wonderful time. We met up with Violet and Tom at the park, which worked out really well and the kids were so excited about. It might be the last time we do that for a while since they are moving to Oxnard soon.
Ashlyn decided that her favorite part of the day was at the very end when she saw 3 baby elephants. Mine was when we were able to sit on the tram for a good twenty minutes and see some animals in a more natural setting. Even when the whole tram had to stop and wait for a snake to cross the road, pretty funny. Kris said that his was also the tram. The animals were awesome to see like the cheetas and rhinos and giraffees. We think that if Jaren talked more he would tell us about the gorillas he saw eating lunch, but instead he just said, "Oooh, Ooh." He sure had a tight grip on Kris' shirt when he saw them. Overall, a great day!
