Halloween

Even with all of the chaos this October I tried to do all of the traditional Halloween/Fall stuff this year so that Ashlyn and Jaren could enjoy everything wonderful about this holiday/season. So it is over a week late, but here are some of our fun pictures.

Of course we had to make our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. I love this place! Ashlyn has two pumpkins because she was really excited to get hers and pick one out for her baby sister, how could I say no?

Then, we love going to our ward Halloween party. Since Camille was just born Kris went with the kids. They were happy to be with him since he had been with me in the hospital for two days. Thank you Marla for dressing my kids up, you did great!

It wouldn't be Halloween without a big pumpkin to carve. Even Camille wanted to be part of the party.

Fun Pictures

I had been meaning to post these pictures before Camille was born , and never got to it, but wanted to show off a few of the cute maternity pictures my sister took for me. She did a good job! I am not a big fan of my pregnant pictures, but I did want some since I hardly had any, you know to capture the moment.

She's Here!

Our sweet baby girl made it into the world Friday, October 24, 2008 at 7:44 am. The surgery went flawless and really quick! She measured in at 7lbs even and 18 inches long. Although when we went to the doctors last Tuesday she was 6lbs. 12oz. and 20 inches long, we'll see what she weighs this Friday. She is sooo beautiful, yes I know I have a biased opinion. After procrastinating to the last moment we finally decided to name her Camille Ivy, which is just perfect for her! And I don't think my grandma would mind us using her name for a middle name. She has adjusted well and sleeps pretty good, and my recovery is going just great!

Her first moments with me after recovery and she was hungry already, but she had found her thumb to distract her.

All dressed and ready for the ride home!

Sweet angelic baby!

Distracted

So I have not done a post in a long while! I have definantly been distracted trying to finish every thing up for our sweet bundle of joy. I feel ready and excited!!! Can't wait to see her and know what her name is. Even though the nursery is not ready I am ready for her. Tomorrow is the big day and so I will post pictures next week of her with some details. I even have some pics of our family and some pumpkin patch pics I will also post. So I will catch up with you all next week!

September Summary...so far!

So the second and third weeks in September have gone by so fast, and they have been very eventful. September 9th Ashlyn started Preschool. She loves it and is learning so much already.
Then that weekend we took the kids to their first Angels game this season.

The following Monday Ashlyn had a teeny tiny cavity filled, her first one.

That weekend I completely finished Ashlyn's room, well, there are some things I can still do but they will have to wait, for now it is good. I am so happy! I feel like I just accomplished a huge task...I need a speech...I would like to thank my dad for his taping and three coats of paint, my wonderful friend Holley for her perfect taping job and pushing to get as much done as possible, and my patient husband who plows through each project and deals with my nagging. Here are the results. I love it! Simple and clean! I'll post the other rooms when they get somewhat done.
